MAPLE GROVE LIONS ANNOUNCE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES for the
2010-2011 academic year (Maple Grove - January 2011) Maple Grove Lions will award 15 scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors living within Maple Grove in the spring of 2011. The applicants must have resided in the city of Maple Grove for his or her senior year of high school. Students that live in this area but attend school elsewhere are still eligible. Grade point average will not be the prime factor in awarding these scholarships. Academic achievement, community involvement, need, and ambition are all considered in the awarding of these scholarships. Funds are applied to tuition costs when the student enrolls in a college, university, technical or trade school. Applications for the 2010-2011 scholarships will be accepted beginning on January 1st, 2011. Deadline for scholarship applications was February 24th, 2011. All applications must be received by February 24th, 2011 to be considered. Applications may be downloaded by
