MAPLE GROVE LIONS ANNOUNCE SCHOLARSHIP
OPPORTUNITIES
(Maple Grove - December2009)
Maple Grove Lions will award 20 scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors living within Maple Grove in the spring of 2010. The applicants must have resided in the city of Maple Grove for his or her senior year of high school. Students that live in this area but attend school elsewhere are still eligible. Grade point average will not be the prime factor in awarding these scholarships. Academic achievement, community involvement, need, and ambition are all considered in the awarding of these scholarships. Funds are applied to tuition costs when the student enrolls in a college, university, technical or trade school.
Applications for the 2009-2010 scholarships will be accepted beginning on January 1st, 2009. Deadline for scholarship applications was February 24th, 2010.
All applications must be received by February 24th, 2010 to be considered.
Applications may be downloaded by clicking on the link below, or they will also be available at the Maple Grove Senior High School. Check with your guidance counselor.
The Maple Grove Lions scholarship program, which began in 1990, is headed by Committee Chairman, Lion Dave Martin (763) 262-6439 .
Print the application using the links below. Feel free to continue your responses on additional sheets of paper but be sure to address all questions. Mail your completed application to the address on the application form.
