Q. How do I register for the race?

Q. Is there a discount for signing up early?

Q. How can I confirm my entry?

A. When you complete your registration, you will receive an email confirmation at the email address you entered in the registration form. If you did not receive this confirmation, please check your ‘spam' folders. Official confirmations will be emailed out the week of the race.

Q. How can I be a sponsor of the race?

Q. Where do the courses start and end?

A. The Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses start and end at Maple Grove High School (Crimson) Stadium. Parking is across the street at the High School, 9800 Fernbrook Ln N, Maple Grove, MN 55369.

Q. When can I pick up my packet?

A. Packet pick up is at Twin Cities Running, 12862 Bass Lake Rd, Maple Grove, MN 55369, on Friday May 12th 2023 from noon to 6 p.m. Late pick up is available on race morning, but pick up must happen before 7 a.m.

Q. Do all the races start at the same time?

A. No, each distance race starts at a different time. All races start on the Stadium track. The Half Marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. The 10K starts at 7:45 a.m. The 5K starts at 7:55 a.m.

Q. How will I know where to turn on the course?

A. There will be course Marshals and signs with arrows along the course. Marshals, wearing orange vests, are stationed at trail forks and junctures, road intersections, and other key points along the race. The backgrounds on arrow signs correspond to bib colors which differ according to the race distance. Bikers will lead the Half Marathon and 10K events to ensure the lead runners remain on course.

Q. is there a maximum time to complete the Half Marathon course?

A. The course closes at 11AM. A golf cart will be following the last runner of the Half Marathon to ensure we sweep the course of runners.

Q. Can family and friends come to the stadium?

A. Yes, family and friends are welcome at the stadium (or elsewhere on the course). The stadium playing field is restricted . Dogs (except service dogs) are not permitted.

Q. Can I store my clothing (i.e., jacket, change of shoes) at the race?

A. Sweat bag storage is provided at the stadium concession building. The bag will be marked with tape bearing your bib number for retrieval.

Q. Are there water stops along the course?

A. Water stops are located roughly every two miles along the Half Marathon and 10K courses. There is a water stop just before Mile 2 along the 5K course. Please be sure to thank the volunteer groups that are providing this support for the event.

Q. Are the portable potties along the course?

A. There are portapotties roughly every 2 miles located near the water stops along the race. There will be quite a few portapotties at the Stadium.

Q. Is there medical assistance on the course in case of accident?

A. An Emergency Medical Team including an ambulance patrols the course throughout the race. There is also medical support at the stadium.

Q. What do I get for running the race?

A. A finisher’s medal, a race t-shirt, runners snacks and water after the event, and the thanks of the Maple Grove Lions Club for your community support.

Q. What happens if there is inclement weather?

A. An emergency weather plan exists in case of rapidly changing conditions. An assessment of the morning weather will be made prior to start time. However, there will be no refunds due to weather related cancellations.
